“People are often preoccupied and often leave their phones behind. I wanted to create a quick way to alert a person so they can retrieve their phone before walking away, so I invented this. My design helps prevent the hassle of a lost or missing phone.”
Features
- Would consist of a transmitter and a receiver
- The transmitter would be approximately the size of a credit card; would be placed between the phone and phone case
- The receiver would be approximately the size of a money clip; can be attached to the belt or pocket
- User would select a preset distance between the transmitter and the receiver; a tone or vibration alert would be activated if the preset distance is exceeded; this would alert the user that the phone is being left behind
- Would be powered via a small rechargeable battery
- As a variation, the transmitter could also be incorporated into the design of a cell phone case
